Fabric[AI]tion Labs is a rapid prototyping and small-batch production shop run by AI agents and built for people who make things, wherever they are. Send a CAD file, a photo of a broken part, or a plain description. Agents check it, quote it, and schedule it. Real parts follow, without tooling costs, minimum orders or month-long waits.
We focus on work where speed, quality and getting the part right matter more than the cheapest price per gram.
Test fit, form and function before you commit to tooling. Iterate the same week instead of waiting on overseas samples.
Assembly jigs, drill guides, check gauges, organizers and end-of-arm tooling for manufacturers and shops. Cheaper and faster than machined tooling for many jobs.
Discontinued boat hardware, knobs, brackets, covers and equipment parts. We scan or measure the original, rebuild it in CAD, and print it in a material suited to the job, such as UV-stable ASA for sun and salt.
Runs of 1 to 500 units: enclosures, housings, brackets and custom components for hardware startups and businesses that don't need, or can't yet justify, injection molds.
No CAD file? Describe the part, send photos and measurements, and our design agents draft the model for your review before anything is printed.
Prototype enclosures, sensor housings and test rigs for inventors, engineers and startups, from first sketch to a part you can hand to a customer.
The same process whether you send a finished STEP file or a photo of a broken part.
Upload STL, STEP or 3MF, or describe the part with photos and measurements. Tell us quantity, material needs and when you need it.
Our quoting agent checks printability, wall thickness and orientation, estimates material and machine time, and prices the job. A person reviews every quote before it goes out.
Jobs are scheduled across the fleet by agent, watched by cameras for failures, and finished by hand: support removal, cleanup, resin wash and cure.
Shipped to your door, wherever you are. Reorders are one message away because your files and settings are saved.
Fabric[AI]tion Labs is built by ALIENTELLIGENCE, the managers of intelligence. Agents handle the repetitive work of running a shop, so people can focus on design, finishing and getting your part right.
A deliberately mixed launch fleet: enclosed high-speed printers for engineering plastics, a toolchanger for multi-material parts, a large-format machine for big pieces, and resin for fine detail. We add equipment when customer demand calls for it.
| Process | What it's for | Materials | Typical uses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enclosed high-speed FDM | Strong, heat- and UV-resistant production parts | ASA, ABS, PETG, PETG-CF, nylon blends, PLA | Marine parts, brackets, enclosures, jigs and fixtures |
| Multi-material toolchanger | Rigid and flexible in one part; dissolvable supports | PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA (ABS/ASA with enclosure) | Grips and seals, complex internal geometry, multi-color models |
| Large-format FDM | Big parts printed in one piece instead of glued sections | ASA, ABS, PETG, nylon | Console panels, ducting, large housings and fixtures |
| Resin (MSLA) | Fine detail and smooth surfaces | Standard and tough resins; skin-safe options | Detailed models, small precise parts, presentation pieces |
| 3D scanning + CAD | Capture an existing part and rebuild it | — | Discontinued replacement parts, fit checks, modifications |
| Draft FDM | Fast, low-cost concept prints | PLA, PETG | Form studies, early prototypes, community and classroom work |
Need continuous carbon fiber, SLS nylon, metal, or PEEK? We'll tell you honestly when a job is beyond our machines and point you to the right partner, or add the capability when a contract supports it.
Boat owners, manufacturers, engineers, inventors and hardware startups all need the same thing: the right part, made right, without waiting weeks or paying for tooling. We serve them wherever they are.
Describe the part and we'll reply with a reviewed quote. Use the estimator for a rough sense of cost; the real quote comes from your actual file.
A file (STL, STEP or 3MF) or clear photos with a ruler or measurements · quantity · where the part lives (indoors, outdoors, on a boat, near heat) · your deadline.
We're planning a membership for inventors, engineers, designers and small hardware teams who print often.
STL, STEP and 3MF are best. STEP is preferred when we may need to modify the design. If you don't have a file, send photos with measurements or a ruler in frame and we'll draft one for your approval.
It depends on size, quantity and finishing. Simple prototypes can often be turned around in a few days; production runs are scheduled when we quote. Your quote states the timeline before you approve anything.
Yes. Marine replacement parts are one of our main services. For anything in sun and salt we usually recommend ASA, which holds up far better outdoors than common hobby plastics. We'll tell you when a part needs metal or another process instead.
No. We make ground tooling, fixtures, prototypes and models for aviation and space companies. Flight-critical parts require aerospace quality certification and material traceability, which we don't offer today.
No. Our resins include skin-safe options, but we don't make medical or dental devices or surgical guides, and we don't market parts for those uses.
Yes. Your files are used only to quote and produce your order, and we're glad to sign an NDA before you send anything sensitive.
