The Thesis

A company no longer needs to be big to be ambitious.

The cost of execution is collapsing. Where a startup once needed forty people to reach a million in revenue, it now needs a sharp wedge, a fleet of agents, and a handful of operators who know exactly what to point them at.

01

Agents are the new headcount.

Every venture ships with a roster of specialized agents — sales, support, ops, finance, research — supervised rather than micromanaged. Capacity scales with compute, not hiring.

02

Speed is structural advantage.

We compress idea-to-revenue from quarters to weeks. By the time a market is obvious to everyone else, the autonomous incumbent already owns the workflow.

03

Ownership stays concentrated.

Lean teams mean clean cap tables. Founders and the studio keep meaningful ownership, and breakout ventures graduate without years of dilution.

The Factory

From signal to self-running company — in five moves.

Every venture runs the same disciplined pipeline. The studio supplies the engine; the venture supplies the wedge.

01

Signal

We mine markets for narrow, painful workflows an autonomous company can own end to end — places where speed and 24/7 operation beat headcount.

Weeks 0–1
02

Forge

We assemble the product, the agent stack, and the operating playbook in parallel. A venture goes from blank repo to first paying customer in a single sprint.

Weeks 1–5
03

Autonomize

Day-to-day operations hand off to a supervised fleet of agents. Humans move from doing the work to setting the guardrails and reviewing the edges.

Weeks 5–12
04

Scale

Revenue compounds while the human surface area stays flat. The agent fleet absorbs growth; operators focus on distribution and judgment calls.

Months 3–12
05

Spin out

Breakout ventures graduate with their own cap table, leadership, and balance sheet — and the studio rolls the playbook into the next one.

The Agent Fleet

Operators that never clock out.

Every venture inherits the same core crew of autonomous agents. They sell, support, reconcile, and keep the lights on — supervised by a handful of humans, but doing the work themselves, around the clock.

Questions

The things people ask first.

How is this different from a normal venture studio?+

Traditional studios hire teams to run each company. We build companies designed to run themselves — the default operator is a supervised agent fleet, and humans are the exception, not the engine. That changes the economics of everything: speed, cost, ownership, and how many bets we can run at once.

Do you invest cash, or just build?+

Both. We contribute the build — product, agent stack, and operating playbook — and back it with capital from the studio fund. Most ventures need far less outside money than a conventional startup, because the team is small by design.

Who owns the companies?+

Ownership is split between the founding operators and the studio, with a pool reserved for the people (and the playbooks) who make a venture work. Because teams stay lean, cap tables stay clean and dilution stays low.

What does "autonomous" actually mean here?+

It means the majority of day-to-day operations — sales motions, support, fulfillment, finance, reporting — execute without a human in the loop. We publish an autonomy figure for every venture so the claim stays honest. Nothing is fully hands-off; humans own the guardrails and the judgment calls.

Can I bring my own idea?+

Yes. If you have a wedge worth automating and the appetite to operate it, pitch us. The strongest founders arrive with deep insight into a workflow and let the studio supply the autonomous engine.

When do companies spin out?+

When a venture has durable revenue and a clear leadership team, it graduates with its own cap table and balance sheet. The studio stays a shareholder and rolls the hard-won playbook into the next build.
